The Eco-Efficiency Award was created by the Japan Forum on Eco-Efficiency (JFEE) to recognize corporate contributions toward to the eco-efficiency effort and improvement in which they apply. The forum recognizes the importance of eco-efficiency.
The award is a symbol and acknowledgement of the diligent work by Japanese business sectors in improving their eco-efficiency. The Eco-Efficiency Awards 2005 were given out for the first time to the following companies, December 16th, 2005.
